Visit of Martina Navratilova

18. June 2005

It is unquestionable that the exhibition highlight of 2005 was the project of a well-known Slovak photographer Juraj Králik who had the world premiere of his Art Grand Slam conceptual project at the Danubiana.
The artist succeeded in persuading the world famous tennis player Martina Navratilova to participate in this unique project which links art with tennis in a visually impressive way. New opportunities of the perception of tennis will be presented to the visitors in Prague , Paris , London , New York and Melbourne.
On the occasion of the grand opening of the exhibition, both artists met the director of the museum as well as journalists and art lovers. The authentic impression of the exhibition was strengthened by the fact that Martina Navratilova presented all her trophies from Grand Slam tennis tournaments.
