The boat runs every Saturday and Sunday from 30/04 to 30/10 and the following public holidays: 5/7, 1/9 and 15/9/2016.

Departure of the ship from the passenger port in Fajnorovo nabrezie 2 (street) in Bratislava is at 13:30, arrival to the Danubiana is about 14:30, then exiting the Danubiana at 16:30 and arrival in Bratislava at 18:00. Return ticket, which also includes admission to Danubiana costs 12 EUR.

Finissage of Hermann Nitsch exhibition

We have good news for all admirers of the work of Hermann Nitsch, famous Austrian artist, founder of the Viennese actionism. On the occasion of the end of his exhibition in our museum, the author will attend a gala finissage during which he will meet with Slovak artists, colleagues and other guests who want to meet him personally. Hermann Nitsch will come to Danubiana on Sunday 22nd March at 15.00 and will stay in our museum until 18.00.

We look forward to meeting you and this exceptional artist.

Frans Timmermans at Danubiana

Frans Timmermans, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, together with Richard van Rijssen, Ambassador of the Netherlands in Slovakia, have visited Danubiana today. Minister was interested in information about museum extension and about the opening of the museum which was founded by his compatriot, collector and art supporter Gerard Meulensteen.

120 days to the extended Danubiana Opening

Dear Danubiana friends,

Less than 120 days and we will meet together in new, extended museum, where we are currently finishing with works on all sections.
On attached photos, you can see that dozens of workers of general contractor and its subcontractors are doing everything to make Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum attractive place for those who love art and art is important part of their everyday lives.
We are looking forward to September when we will be able to see our museum in full glory.
